Job Description

Job Title: Parts ManagerContract: PermanentHours: Full time, Monday to FridayLocation: KenilworthSalary: £30,000 - £36,000 per annumBenefits: 28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays, generous pension scheme that matches employee contributions and free parking.We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Manger to join one of the largest independent operators in the distribution market on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, liaising directly with suppliers, ensuringstock control is maintained and monitoring and confirming orders.Duties include:

  • Communicating with customers, ensuring that they are always prioritised and put first.
  • Maintaining stock levels, ensuring orders are always shipped on time and stock reports are accurately updated.
  • Being the main point of contact for both suppliers and customers to ensure that all parts are distributed and received on time.
  • Ensuring that KPIs are achieved.
  • Responding to incoming emails and phone calls.
  • Ensuring that the log of enquiries is regularly updated and maintained.
  • Reviewing ongoing practices and systems so that they are consistently performing and to identify any room for improvement.
  • Monitoring spare parts orders and confirming the status of all outstanding orders with factory warehouse personnel.
  • Raising sales orders and creating invoices using Protean, ensuring that all prices, parts and order details are accurate.
  • Using your initiative to prioritise and manage tasks.
Skills and experience required:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience in a Parts Manager/Supervisor or similar role.
  • Experience within supply chain or within the engineering industry is desirable.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Able to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail.
