Job Description

A respected Motorsport and High-Performance Engineering trade association requires a Membership Executive (P/T) to identify, engage, and build new membership leads and nurture these leads into members, to meet set targets and grow the community.What youll be doing:

  • Host regular meetings (both in-person and/or on the phone) with potential members
  • Provide regular account management to the community of members, through calls and emails, to help retain, look after and provide support to existing members
  • Create promotional material to promote the benefits and value of membership
  • Attend external events to meet up with existing and future members
  • Track and report progress on both membership status to management
Skills helpful for the role:
  • Experience in membership recruitment, within a commercially focused membership/client service-led organisation
  • Ability to work independently in a small team; being resourceful with good interpersonal skills
  • Confident on phone and screen, hosting meetings, taking calls, making sales calls
  • Able to attend events which sometimes means early starts and/or late finishes and occasionally staying away
  • IT skills including use of Microsoft office packages, databases, CRM, Social Media etc
  • Knowledge of, or interest in the motorsport industry is an advantage but not essential
  • Car owner and hold a valid driving licence
