Job Description

Finance Business Analyst (Vehicle Personalisation)37845Pay Rate: up to £26.47/hr Ltd (c.£20.27/hr PAYE option)Division:Finance / SVOContract Position based at:Gaydon, Fen EndPosition Description:The purpose of this role is to lead high quality finance solutions which support the achievement of SVO strategic business objectives through proactive finance business partnering focussing on our Commercial & Palette programmes. Finance businesspartners will build a credible productive partnership primarily with the Vehicle Personalisation programme teams to drive future cash generation.Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver finance solutions to support the strategic direction of the business while ensuring the Finance strategy/approach is aligned across the business unit
  • Support the Functional Managers to achieve short and long-term strategic objectives by delivering plans and initiatives through Finance Business Partnering
  • Calculate finance sensitivities understanding key value levers and use financial analytics to identify opportunities to improve business performance
  • Cross functional working with the wider finance community to deliver finance strategies / initiatives support capitalisations for VP engineering spend
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
  • Previous experience in Finance Business Partner role gained at a similar level
  • Proven strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and nurture relationships within internal operations and externally with suppliers
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mind set with the ability to identify and implement solutions and enhancements
  • An individual, who works independently, is results driven, demonstrating tenacity, drive and perseverance with the ability to deliver operational plans in a complex, highly demanding environment.
  • Capability to combine a short term, pragmatic focus with medium & long term planning
  • A resilient and enthusiastic individual who responds constructively to new ideas and inputs
  • Customer focused mindset, driven to deliver experiences that are personalised, transparent and dependable
  • Ability to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style
Experience Preferred:
  • Sound financial and commercial business insight shown through evidence of developing, introducing new or innovative practices/processes in support of strategic business goals
  • Strong numerical, analytical skills supported by communication and presentation skills - used to translate financial issues for operational teams
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and the ability to balance delivery of conceptual work including financial modelling
  • Previous experience within vehicle programme management
