Job Description

Stores AssistantWe have a new and fantastic opportunity for a Stores Assistant to join our manufacturing client in Keele. This will be a varied role, reporting into the Stores Team Leader.This position has come about due to recent expansion and requires an enthusiastic person to take up this role within the dedicated warehousing division.Main Duties

  • Ensure that all goods are unpacked, receipted and stored safely and securely.
  • Ensure that all goods for despatch are sent out on time and packed to ensure safe, timely receipt by the customer.
  • Keep all storage areas clean and tidy.
  • Ensure customer enquiries to department are dealt with effectively.
  • Maintain the flexibility of the department/company as required by Stores Supervisor.
    • Experience Required
  • The ideal candidate should have the skills and competences to pack and dispatch products quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to work flexibly - Essential
  • Team player - Essential
  • Strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage own workload - Essential
  • Folk lift truck licence - Essential
