Job Description

The Company

  • MTrec are currently recruiting specialist engineering firm based in the South Shields area. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a permanent member of contract for the right applicant.
The Role
  • Following basic engineering drawings and plans
  • CNC operation of a variety of machinery, making settings changes and tool changes to machinery
  • Working on the blanks sheet metal
  • Manually loading and unloading products in to cutting equipment
  • Ensuring items are cut to the required standards
  • Making adjustments to the machine settings where required
  • Completing quality inspections on all products
  • Previous experience with setting machinery would be advantageous
  • General tidying of the production area
The Person
  • Should have previous experience within manufacturing
  • Willing to work permanent day shift, initially but will be expected to go a day and night rotation after a weeks training
  • Flexible to assist with overtime
