Job Description

We are looking for experienced senior accountants to work full-time to expand our accountancy office in Islington, London.Duties will include:

  • Accounts production for sole traders and limited companies
  • Preparation and filing of individual and corporation tax returns
  • Preparation and filing of VAT returns
  • Assisting junior staff with payroll as needed
  • Making checks and correcting accounts prepared by junior accountant
  • Providing help and support to all junior staff
    • You are not expected to undertake bookkeeping work, except during busiest periods.Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of accounting office experience in the UK
  • Work permit in the UK
  • Fluency in English language. Due to having a strong Turkish client base, candidates with good written and verbal Turkish communication skills are preferred.
  • Good client management skills, including a strong focus on client communication, document care, storing data
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly of MS Excel
  • Systematic and organised individual
  • Excellence of manners, respect and courtesy to the team members and to the clients at all times
  • Ability to perform in a calm, positive and professional manner in stressful situations or around the tight deadlines
  • Hard-working personality and strong attention to detail
