Systems Administrator - Linux / Oracle - 4 Day Working Week & Generous BonusCathcart Associates are helping a science and technology organisation based in central Manchester find a permanent Systems Administrator.The company in question is a bleeding-edge science firm that has some of the UKs best scientists that work on life-changing products. The role of Linux Engineer is to make sure the company has the best user experience as possible working on some of their latest projects and supporting the IT Manager. Alongside this you will support and build an in house database which you will develop and look after it from a security perspective. You will work in an environment with multiple operating systems although Linux is their main system.You will work alongside senior stakeholders of the business to align IT needs with business requirements and have a proactive working approach to bring the best IT user experience. You will work alongside the companies 3rd Party IT suppliers and make sure they are giving the best level of support.
