Job Description

PAINT SPRAYER / PACKER / LOADER/UNLOADERDepartment: Fitting ShopOur client is one of the worlds leading manufacturers ofair and gas compressors, vacuum pumps and gas boosters. They are currently seeking a Paint Sprayer / Packer to join their team in Irthlingborough.Main Purpose of Job: To paint spray pumps and components to company/customer standards. Pack products for despatch.Relationships: a) Responsible to: Production Manager b) Responsible for: Quality and standards of the products.c) Location: Paint SectionMain Tasks of Job:

  • To paint spray various pumps and components to company and customers specifications and standards
  • To pack products and components for despatch on a daily basis, including the use of specialized packaging as required.
  • To assist with loading and unloading of vehicles for despatch or goods inwards, as required.
  • Undertake all mechanical and manual lifting in a safe manner including slinging, weight estimation and manual handling.
  • Allocate and store components to various areas within the factory (i.e. storage).
  • Ensure work area is cleaned and tidied on a routine basis, compliant with 5S principles.
  • Complete any documentation relevant to the department on a routine basis, as required.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety Regulations within the company. This includes Standard Operating Practices, Risk and COSHH Assessments.
