Job Description

Salary: £21,698.53 (12-month contract)Hours: 37 hours a week, 44 weeks a yearWe are currently looking to appoint a Finance Administrator to support the Head of Finance with the Trust’s financial administration ensuring compliance to financial management standards.Highly organised, flexible and able to work on their own initiative, the successful candidate will ideally have a recognised professional accountancy qualification or working towards this qualification or have the relevant experience in a similar role.Experience of using an accounts package for general bookkeeping, including producing accounts and management reports is essential.Experiences of working in academies/a school environment with a knowledge of PS Financials accounting package and Arbor would be desirable but not essential as training will be available.We would like to hear from you if you:

  • Have a minimum grade C in English and Maths at GCSE level (or equivalent)
  • Have experience in an admin/finance role
  • Have sound ICT skills, including Excel and Word
  • Are self-motivated, dedicated and consistent
  • Are a strong communicator, both written and orally
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Are calm and approachable when working under pressure
  • Work well as an individual or as part of a team
