Job Description

  • LOCATION: Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire
  • TYPE: Full-Time Temporary/Contract
  • SALARY: £25,000 pro rata
    • About the Role: An Assistant Accountant is now being sought for a market-leading and fast-growing business supplying commercial and consumer markets. The role is initially for a 3-month period but there is an opportunity this could be extended or be made permanent due to business growth. This will be a varied and interesting position, directly assisting the Financial Controller both with day-to-day duties and with a number of projects aimed to improve and streamline processes. You will be responsible for accurate reconciliations (bank and balance sheet). You will be interrogating data and producing regular reports to aid management decisions.Requirements: Qualification status is not a requirement, but you must have good all-round accounts experience, especially reconciliation skills and recent exposure to Sage 50 is required and should be shown on your CV. Experience of process/procedure improvement is desired. You must, of course, be able to start soon and be able to commit to completing at least 3 months in this role. A willing, can-do and team orientated attitude is a must.
