As a methodical and approachable person, you will be able to work well on your own and take full ownershipand responsibility for the work you do.There are some specific skills and experience we are looking for from suitable candidates;

  • Critical to the success of the role is the ability to build relationships and work closely with internal Teams, Designers and Customers
  • High level of communication skills (mainly over the phone) and experience of excellent customer service is necessary for this role, ideally dealing with key accounts and regular customers
  • Administration experience working within a busy team is essential
  • Proactive and solutions orientated working with both Internal and External customers to satisfy demand.
  • Strong IT skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel

  • Very focused with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
  • Exude confidence and maintain a positive attitude in even in the most difficult of circumstances
  • Be highly self-motivated and have the ability to work under own initiative
What will I be doing in the roleThis role is an important role in the business and its customers. A great Scheduling Administrator will help keep our business running smoothly and our customer informed and up to date at all steps of their project. To support the business you will;
  • Ensure regular daily communication links with internal departments, in particular Design and Operations
  • Regular phone and email contact with customers to firm up delivery dates involving; Fixed contact points at week 1 then weeks 3 or 4 to confirm, specific delivery requirements, including number of loads, vehicle requirements and completing the final deliverybooking
  • Send schedules to Key Accounts department once Scheduling Manger confirms dates
  • Support the Scheduling Manager in duties during absence and busy periods
  • Support with transport administration duties as required
  • Information must be accurately recorded and communicated, on a real time effective basis, for; status of orders, efficiency of processes, volume throughput, current lead times, future loads, actions to match capacity
