Job Description

Pure have partnered exclusively with an impressive organisation that specialises in cutting-edge technology all over the world. They collaborate with global partners and are growing at an impressive pace.Our client is looking to recruit a newly created role for a Commercial Accountant to join their finance team. They are looking for an individual that is eager to grow and progress with the role, as the company continues to expand. The organisation offers excellentprogression opportunities, which is proven with their current teams.As the Commercial Accountant you will support the wider business with analysis and financial data for forecasting, commercial tenders, measurements of cost and business performance. You will be a key individualto providing value and finance support acrossthe organisation.Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Drive efficient and accurate business plans and budgets by completion of a detailed 5-year sales and cost plans in coordination with budget holders.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to support in the management of existing contracts and quoting for new contracts.
  • Keep senior leadership up to date by producing and reporting weekly forecasts and KPIs to provide up to date information. You will highlight any issues and provide any insight into risks.
  • Support business plans during planning, implementation and review, ensuring costing and assumptions are adequately and constructively challenged.
  • Liaising with Finance and non-Finance individuals within the organisation to engage and influence, to support with financial understanding allow for informed decision making and improve business performance.
  • Work hand in hand with the Financial Accountant to implement accounting structures for any new projects, customers and business initiatives to align and budget to enable customer and product profitability.
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller on both annual and interim external audits, producing audit schedules.
The ideal candidate profile will be:
  • Qualified or finalist (ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, sumifs)
  • Working knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience of using SAP
