Job Description

CAD TECHNICIAN HYDE £40,000 CIRCA Gi Pro are seeking an experienced CAD Technician to join an established business specialising in bespoke furniture design and manufacturing.THE ROLE: As a CAD Technician you will be required to:

  • Provide working drawings and additional supplementary information to facilitate the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke joinery and associated products and services.
  • Produce 2D drawings working from quotations, architectural drawings, and specifications,
  • Site co-ordination, Co-ordinate all details and interfaces with other trade contractors.
  • Meet with trade contractors and clients, to complete site surveys and other requisite information.
  • To produce cost effective, accurate and practical solutions for manufacture and install.
  • Deliver information in an accurate and timely manner in line with programme requirements, sometimes working from a simple sketch brief provided by the client.
  • Follow all procedures and complete all records required to manage the project professionally and efficiently in line with systems.
  • The role expects a high level of competency and general understanding, and it will be necessary to drive the process onwards, reporting Immediately when this is not possible.
  • Undertaking high end contemporary bespoke works and high-quality commercial fit-out works.
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal CAD Technician:
  • Degree level education, NVQ or City and Guilds qualification.
  • Detailed experience in AutoCAD 2D and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong IT skills, with the ability to use all Microsoft programmes.
  • Clean driving licence.
