Job Description

Due to expansion, Interaction Accountancy and Finance are recruiting for a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join our client based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.Based in their offices in Central Huntingdon, working within an established team, your typical duties include:

  • Inputting payroll for weekly paid temporary workers
  • Payroll administration, amending Tax Codes, Issuing payslips, processing holiday pay, issuing P45/P60 and P11Ds
  • Dealing with payroll queries both internally and externally
  • Supporting credit control to chase outstanding invoices
  • Resolving invoice queries
  • Raising credit notes where required
  • Other adhoc duties to support the team
Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills:
  • Ideally studying towards an AAT Qualification
  • Knowledge or interest in pursuing a role within accounts - any relevant UK experience would be advantageous
  • Team player with a flexible attitude
  • Strong communication skills are essential
  • Ability to be organised and manage own workload
  • IT Literate - experience of Microsoft Excel would be advantageous
