Job Description

Due to an increased workload and expansion within the business this rapidly growing company is looking to expand it engineering team and introducea new senior engineer to the team.The Position:

  • Design, develop and review mechanical and electrical designs to meet customer and R&D requirements
  • Evaluate mechanical requirements from customers and offer support when specifications aren’t accurate
  • Create technical drawings for both customer and internal use
  • Set standards for 3D modelling and 2D drawings to improve designs
  • Liaise with both suppliers, customers and colleagues providing excellent customer service
  • To perform 3D mechanical modelling & 2D drawings in CAD
  • Perform vibration, stress and thermal modelling and analysis
  • Responsible for estimating timings and costings working within company budgets
  • Ensure health and safety is followed and company values are adhered to
The Candidate:
  • Must have a strong background in Mechanical engineering
  • Experience in a design/development role
  • Background in aerospace (desirable)
  • Able to lead a small team
  • A can do attitude and take responsibility
