Job Description

The ability to manage the security team in providing an efficient, flexible and motivated team is pivotal to the success of this role.We are seeking a Security Manager with excellent planning, organisational and commercial skills together with experience to recognise opportunities.Job purpose: To provide security and support duties in a professional and courteous manner in line with Clients requirements, Security Policies and procedures.Role requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
  • Previous Security Management experience.
  • A frontline Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence is required for the role.
  • Intermediate level PC Skills (MS Office)
  • 5 year checkable work/career history. All applicants will be vetted in line with industry standardsBS7858
  • Role requires DV security clearance
Duties include:
  • Liaise on a daily basis with Staff, Client and Operational teams
  • Conduct Security Risk Assessments and curate Assignment instructions
  • Conduct and monitor all physical and online training programmes
  • Support the fulfilment of the contracted/business objectives, through the range of duty assignments which will involve security and support duties
  • Rostering and Recruitment
  • Contribute as a team member to ensure the safety and positive customer experience for all visitors
  • Staff searches
  • Item searches
  • Internal and External foot patrols
  • Signing in and out visitors/staff/contractors
  • Incident reports
  • Control room duties such as CCTV monitoring/answering telephone calls/completing online or paper documentation
  • Alarm Response
