Product OwnerTIDE Services Ltd (part of Anglian Water Group)Salary of up to £45.000 based on experience + Up to 10% annual bonusPermanent, 37 hours a week, Monday to FridayLocation: Home based / Huntingdon: Your office base will be Huntingdon and you would be expected to attend the office 1 or 2 days every 2 weeksA rewarding opportunity to join a fast-growing team in web-hosted information solutions for utilities.TIDE Services is a team of commercially focused individuals with great ideas, drive and ambition, supported by first class IT services and a team of highly skilled, creative and innovative software developers.We are building a new Product team and recruiting an experienced Product Owner for our fast-growing brand, www.digdat.co.uk, to support our Lead Product Owner.As a Product Owner you will represent the client and business needs and take ownership of digdat Communication Services with emphasis on service and feature enhancements, innovation, reliability, scalability, efficiency and usability. You will learn aboutall products within the Digdat product portfolio and be able to support the Product Team with development of Asset Protection Services.The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure products are developed, enhanced and maintained to deliver maximum commercial benefit and customer satisfaction.Working in an agile environment you will be able to influence the strategic direction of the business, the product/service mix, sales and marketing strategy and service delivery processes.Key ResponsibilitiesSplit between homeworking and our office in Huntingdon, the Product Owner will be responsible mainly for the continuous development and improvement of digdats Communication services.The key responsibilities of the role are:

• To establish strong partnership with Lead Product Owner and Head of Digdat and work closely with them to define the product strategy and roadmaps in alignment with business objectives and vision.
• Provide backlog management for Communication Services, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories with focus on delivering maximum value
• Prioritise backlog according to cost / benefit and alignment to Vision, OKRs, and Roadmaps.
• Create user story maps, write user stories and define acceptance criteria
• Work closely with UX/UI Designers to deliver user-friendly product solutions and help the Delivery team understand requirements
• Drive sprint goals, themes and sprint content via prioritized stories and ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
• Provide leadership to the cross-functional delivery team as Product Owner
• Provide vision and direction to the delivery team and stakeholders throughout the project
• Act as a point of escalation or digdat platform related defects and major incidents
• Communicate with external and internal stakeholders on regular basis
• Participate in Agile Ceremonies

Whats importantYou will need to be self-motivated, and proactive. The role will require you to work alongside the Lead Product Owner and Delivery Team within a fast and competitive environment and balancing continuous improvement of technical solution against market andclient needs.

• Proven work experience as a Product Owner in a software development context
• Experience of creating product roadmaps, user story maps and translating business needs into user stories.
• Self-motivated, personable, confident and dynamic personality able to work and communicate at a detailed or high level with technical and non-technical audiences

• Agile Product Owner Certification desirable but not essential (PSPO, CSPO or POPM)
• Knowledge of Atlassian Jira
• Experience in the utility sector / mapping services industry, or similar, advantageous.
• A willingness to travel for occasional and short periods
