The PCB assembler position is based for a high techmanufacturing company based in Huntingdon. The permanent post is available due to retirement, the company is an amazing working environment and they retain staff.The duties for the PCB Assembler
  • To undertake 2nd Stage manufacture of mixed technology PCB’s to high quality standards
  • 2nd Stage manufacture of PCB’s involving excellent soldering, electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Assembly will include component recognition, insertion and soldering along with mechanical assembly to PC based Work Instructions.
  • Some manual SMT soldering skills may be required for simple components.
  • Inspection of PCB’s once 2nd Stage assembly is complete.
Person skills for the PCB Assembler
  • Good component recognition skills and a working knowledge of PCB assembly best working practices.
  • Excellent soldering skills along with the ability to Inspect complete PCB’s for both component, mechanical, and soldering errors.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy along with the ability to work both within a team environment and under own initiative under pressure when required.
Experience within ATE test or SMT manufacturing is desirable, however not essential as training will be given.Hours of work for the PCB AssemblerMonday to Friday days (short day Friday)HuntingdonFor more details please contact Lisa Parsons
