We are looking to recruit a Logistics Supervisor who will run the day-to-day transport operations at Miers Huntingdon.We offer a great opportunity to build your career in a market leading business, along with a competitive salary and excellent benefits that include 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, a great pension, life insurance and a Share Incentive Scheme.What does the role involveAs the Logistics Supervisor, you will plan and coordinate incoming goods, storage, and despatch of goods in a timely and efficient manner to achieve objects and KPI’s as determined by the reporting manager. The successful candidate will beresponsible for depot vehicles, ensuring all vehicles are road worthy, correctly loaded and meet o’licence requirements. You will also be required to assist with arranging agency contractors, use SAP to book in purchase stock orders, tock transfers while monitoringminimum and maximum stock levels.The successful candidate will also perform other general duties to maintain the warehouse and yard as well as any other ad hoc duties as required within reasonable request. You will also need to be available for stock take which may include weekend work andas a company mobile holder you may also be required to answer the phone outside of working hours.The successful candidate will require:• O’licence knowledge.• At least two years of experience in routing and planning and experience running a team.A national CPC qualification would be an advantage but not essential.In return we offer:• Competitive salary with annual pay award and staff recognition schemes• 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
