Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Group IBA Integrations Analyst to help on key strategic projects, as we continue to grow and integrate our teams here at the Jensten Group. The role is remote working. Reporting to the Group IBA Integrations Manager,the main purpose of the role is to have oversight of the integration of acquired entity’s Insurance Broking Accounting functions. Also, the responsibility for the application of controls in line with the Group’s CASS and client money handling procedures &policies- to ensure that the acquired entity adopts the Group’s procedures post-acquisition.Some key objectives & responsibilities will include:

  • Perform the due diligence of the client money handling activities of acquisition targets
  • Full responsibility for the successful delivery of an agreed integration plan for the Insurance Broking Accounting functions of all new acquisitions within the Group, in line with agreed timescales and budget.
  • Oversee and train the existing Insurance Broking Accounting teams in acquired businesses up to the point of transfer to a Jensten shared service centre
  • Integration activity (which will include the delivery of specific actions arising from Due Diligence findings, introduce controls in line with the Group’s CASS and client money handling procedures & policies to ensure that the acquired entity adopts theGroup’s procedures post-acquisition, ensure that client money calculations are performed in line with the groups CASS procedures and more…)
  • Work closely with Mergers & Acquisition team to ensure that Insurance Broking Accounting integration considerations are appropriately reflected in the various stages of the deal process including due diligence
  • Participation in post-acquisition review exercise to refine the Mergers & Acquisition process and identify areas for improvement.
About youAs our Group IBA Integrations Analyst, you’ll enjoy building new relationships and strengthening existing ones as UK travel will be expected in the role (to our Huntingdon/London and acquisition offices). Having a keen eye for detail, you’ll be well-organisedand have excellent technical skills. You’ll also be or have:
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Excellent project management skills, interpersonal and negotiating skills with an ability to make key decisions.
  • The ability and gravitas to quickly build strong and trusting relationships with the Senior Management team of the acquired business.
  • Ability to manage risks and ensure early identification of the mitigating risks of the integration, along with having a strong financial focus and ensuring the financial benefits are evaluated.
  • Ability to determine and implement the right integration plan as quickly and efficiently as possible.
  • Significant post-acquisition integration experience, coupled with private equity experience (desirable)
  • CASS/Client Money Insurance industry/financial service experience
