Job Description

Two-shift rota, 6.00am - 6.30pm and 6.30pm to 6.00am Job Purpose Ensure product is produced and packaged in accordance with the Production programme and Safe Systems of Work.

  • Produce the required product, using coiler, stillage and saw operations
  • To apply product Identification tapes, labelling and end capping as required
  • To monitor and record product quality, using micrometre, PI. Tapes, verniers and documentation
  • Maintain product quality by stopping and restarting line as required
  • Keep supervision informed of equipment and product quality related issues
  • Complete FLT and crane operations as required, to expedite product despatch
  • Ensure reject is kept to minimum.
  • Carry out product change overs, including tooling, material, lead tube and line equipment.
  • Carry out start-ups on product change overs
  • Make adjustments to the process to achieve and maintain production
