Job Description

This Cost Accountant role will suit someone who enjoys analysis working in a fast-paced environment.Reporting to the Financial Controller and working alongside one other Cost Accountant and duties will include

  • Maintaining up to date information
  • Uploading cost changes and ensuring that all information is correct
  • Analysis of standard vs actual costs and producing reports
  • Pricing and profitability analysis
  • Costing audits and assisting with external audit process
  • Working closely with stakeholders ensuring information is disseminated appropriately
  • Ad hoc reporting
A keen eye for detail and the ability to interact with non-finance personnel is essential to the success of this position.Experience of costings would be highly advantageous but strong Excel skills and a deadline focused approach are essential attributes.The successful candidate may be AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA or CIMA and study support will be available if appropriate.If you thrive on communicating and working in a commercial environment then this could be the role for you.
