Position: Assistant/Associate Solicitor: Commercial Property (1-5 PQE) Department: Commercial PropertyLocation: Huntingdon Salary: Negotiable but usually starts at £38,000Description:We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity to join our esteemed client in Huntingdon as an Assistant/Associate Solicitor within our thriving Commercial Property team. With a consistent and high-quality caseload, coupled with recent expansion, we areseeking a motivated individual to further strengthen our offering.Key Responsibilities:- Manage a diverse caseload of commercial property matters, ensuring the delivery of exceptional legal services to our clients.- Collaborate effectively within a supportive team environment, while demonstrating the ability to work autonomously when required.- Achieve billing, time, and fee earning targets set by the firm, while adhering to credit control arrangements.- Provide professional and strategic advice to clients, demonstrating confidence and expertise in commercial property law.- Demonstrate strong project and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Key Requirements:- Qualified lawyer with 1-5 years of experience gained within a reputable Legal 500 practice.- Proficient in commercial leases, acquisitions, disposals, and property finance arrangements.- Excellent project management skills with proven ability to manage competing priorities effectively.- Professional demeanour with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.- Enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach to work.- Organized, competent, and ambitious individual with a desire for continuous learning and development.Additional Experience (Desirable):- Exposure to commercial and residential development sites, including conditional sale agreements, site assembly, and collaboration agreements.- Knowledge of agricultural law, including farm business tenancies and estate management.Benefits:- Agile working arrangements, including up to 40% remote work.- Competitive holiday allowance with additional benefits such as life assurance and critical illness cover.- Structured career progression plan tailored to individual goals and ambitions.- Opportunity for professional development and growth within a supportive team environment.Required skills
