Job Description

 Are you in an accounting role looking for your next move up the management ladder Have you trained or worked for a notable time in a firm of accountants, preparing accounts to UK regulations Do you thrive on assisting client, developing sound relationships, advising on various matters, being crucial to their business Does the idea of working with industry experts, for a company that can offer extremely good benefits, hybrid working and progression interest youReed Practice are excited to have been engaged on an exclusive basis to assist a unique firm of accountants to recruit either an Accounts Assistant Manager or Accounts Manager; the level of role is flexible to suit the successful applicant.This is an exciting time for our client; the Assistant Manager/Manager position is one of two new vacancies they have created, to support the Senior Management and clientele, due to their consistent success and growth.The Manager post will involve considerable client contact and once you have learnt about the business, will develop, and increase the advisory aspect.• Preparation and review of accounts and draft tax computations for sole traders, partnerships, trusts, limited companies, and LLP’s.• Client contact, including attendance at client meetings.• Assisting in bookkeeping support and software support where required.• Provide support in dealing with telephone calls, client meetings, and other duties where required.• Working closely with other members of the tax and accounts teams to ensure the provision of excellent client service.• Opportunity to be involved in ad-hoc advisory tasks; this will increase over time.The firm offers benefits and a remuneration to rival that of even national firms.A competitive salary, 35 days holiday, a days’ leave for your birthday, flexible and hybrid working, Pension contribution, life assurance, Employee Assistance Program, Study support (where required), ample free parking, Group income protection andon Wednesday it’s office breakfast day!As well as all this they can offer progression as they continue to grow.
