Warehouse Manager Huddersfield Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm Salary up to £30,000 DOE My client, a well established manufacturing company in Huddersfield are recruiting a Warehouse Manager to join their team.You will have a proven track record within a similar role and will report to the Operations and Finance Manager.You will be responsible for a team of 4 warehouse operatives. My clieny is looking for an individual to identify weaknesses and be proactive with solutions. You will also have experience of Imports/Exports to ensure compliance with HMRC.This role will be challenging and requires someone who has a positive approach to their work and works well under pressure. You will be someone who who can motivate and lead the team building strong internal and external relationships.Duties:* Using real-time data collection to increase accuracy and lower labour costs* Maintaining computerised administration, stock inventory and retrieval systems* Inspecting and approving the quality and quantity of goods or equipment received and shipped out* Enforcing health standards, safety and security procedures* Enforcing company rules and regulations* Managing staff, building teams, training employees and monitoring production performance* Communicating and interacting with clients, vendors, suppliers and customers* Overseeing logistics of receiving, warehousing and dispatch operations* Meeting regularly with warehouse leads to assess, analyse and develop actionable plans for loss prevention and productivity.* Performing general maintenance of the machinery used in the warehouse* Work closely with the Operations Manager to forecast and plan stock orders, dealing with logistics and overseas companies* Effectively managing the stock in the warehouse ensuring stock counts are accurate.Skills* Business, budget, finance and project management skills* Customer service aptitude* Attention to detail* Problem-solving skills* Leadership and administrative skills* Computer skills in industry software and business information systems* Proven experience in a similar position* Stakeholder management skills* Be an effective communicator and build relationships internally/externallyCLD Recruitment (Leeds) Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
