Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are exclusively partnered with a leading, independent manufacturing business with an excellent reputation and a strong presence within its markets. This FMCG manufacturing business has an extensive portfolio of products and isexpanding rapidly into new categories and territories. The company is currently looking to strengthen the team with the appointment of an experienced QHSE Compliance Manager.This is an excellent opportunity for an established and experienced Quality and HSE Compliance Manager from within the FMCG industry to join the business offering a rare opportunity to take an already successful team to the next level in a business on atruly exceptional growth curve. Reporting to the Managing Director the QHSE Manager will manage a small team encompassing the QHSE aspects of the business and is aimed at improving and maintaining the management systems for processes and procedures in accordancewith ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and other accreditations.Duties and responsibilities of the QHSE Manager include:

  • Manage ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditations and Quality Management System.
  • Prepare and co-ordinate; internal, customer and regulatory audits.
  • Perform ongoing quality training for employees.
  • Maintain data records, logs and databases to track and flag quality-related concerns and proactively follow up with improvements.
  • Write, review and manage controlled documents and SOPs.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality and compliance matters.
  • Manage compliance requirements for supplier and sourcing activities.
  • Maintain data files relating to the environment, REACH, packaging waste regulations and other directives.
  • Line management of 2 direct reports
Im keen to speak to QHSE Managers with the following skillset:
  • Practical hands-on experience in a similar role in an FMCG manufacturing business
  • NEBOSH / IOSH Managing Safely Certificate
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO9001 & ISO14001
  • Proficient at working with IT systems including MS Office
  • Proven line management experience
