Job Description

Profectus have an opportunity for an Electrical Test Engineer to join our client’s team on-site in Nottingham. You will be responsible for crafting test structures, ensuring the effectiveness and quality of electrical equipment and systems. Your duties willencompass grasping project requirements, troubleshooting, performing tests and examinations, and providing assistance with assembly as needed.Key Responsibilities:• Thoroughly test products/systems for early fault detection and compliance with build standards.• Liaise with development and production teams to provide usability and serviceability feedback.• Generate scope/specification documentation for subcontractors and review mechanical/electrical designs.• Conduct inspections, tests, and identify deviations from standards.• Improve testing efficiency and monitor testing schedule alignment with production.• Ensure current and accessible documentation, compliance with safety regulations, and attendance to customer sites when necessary.• Conduct panel wiring, provide electrical advice, and occasionally go on-site for fitting and testing.• Manage health & safety, complete accurate test records, and alert the Production Manager to tool or equipment issues.• Support problem-solving activities, undertake production tasks, and meet production targets.Please apply with an up to date CV for immediate consideration.
