Description Description Job summaryAre you passionate about solving hard problems and building global products reaching millions of users Do you like to think big while diving deep, remain flexible to change, and customer-focusedThe Selling on AmazonRegistration and Verification platforms support multiple businesses including Sell on Amazon, Amazon Pay, and AWS Marketplace; and hosts services which define risk controls, perform data and document collection required for different types of verifications,and orchestrate the verification process through various manual and automated systems.Key job responsibilitiesAs Senior Product Manager - Tech, you will work with product, engineering, operations and other business teams in Amazon to develop and manage Amazonsseller on-boarding platform. You will define and streamline the global platform requirements while staying relevant to product specific customizations. You will drive the development process in partnership with our engineering teams; you will build and launchfeatures applicable to all the products globally. You will establish mechanisms for product and engineering teams as well as other business units to handle variations of requirements in the registration and verification platforms.You are someone who can thinkbig while diving deep, remain flexible to change, resourceful, customer-focused, and someone with a passion for innovation at internet speeds. You should have strong problem-solving skills, product management skills, excellent communication skills, and anunderstanding of how developers build, manage, and deploy their infrastructure and applications. You should also possess the ability to influence people across the organization as well as partner tech teams from tech leadership to business managers. To dothis, you must be able to manage complex initiatives across numerous business models, create certainty out of ambiguous requirements, while having a firm grasp over the operational, strategic, and technical aspects of the product.About the teamThe Sellingon Amazon Registration and Verification team has a mission to create a world-class registration and verification experience for Sellers worldwide. We do this by: (1) Raising the bar on Seller verification by verifying who our Sellers are, where their businessis located, and whether they own valid payment instruments; (2) Making it simple and fast for Sellers to register globally; and (3) Enabling high quality, predictable delivery of features through architecture improvements.We continually innovate, and set ahigh bar for building highly secure, highly available, and highly scalable systems. We are passionate about our customers and work on their behalf to deliver the right solutions that meet their unique and diverse needs.Basic Qualifications Experience contributingto engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a productExperience in technical product management, program management or engineeringExperience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience owning roadmap strategyand definitionExperience with end to end product deliveryBachelors degree7+ years experience building technical products or consulting experience in technology focused businessProven experience in product management of multiple initiatives with competingpriorities and influencing multiple diverse stakeholders (business, tech)Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups, developers, business owners, and senior business leadersAnalytical and quantitative skills;experience using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business casesPreferred Qualifications BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experienceHistory of developing product strategy in conjunction with senior leadershipDemonstratedability to influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross-functional teams across geographies and business unitsExperience with SQLAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
