Job Description

Networking and AV Technician (£18K - £30K based on experience)Lennox IT ltd are a well-established, family-run, small business with a passion for technology and problem solving. After several years of strong growth, we are looking to expand our team with an Audio/Visual & Networking Technician who could provide technical services to our nationwide base of business clients. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join a friendly, motivated and knowledgeable team with huge potential for professional growth and where two days are never the same.Main Responsibilities

  • Performing network (wired and wireless) installations, upgrades and troubleshooting on site at client premises
  • Working with a mixture of network and audio-visual technologies including Cisco, Netgear, TP-Link, Dreytek, Crestron, Control4, RTI, Ubiquiti, and more
  • Providing business-to-business IT support to customers both over the phone and on-site at their business premises
  • Performing IT troubleshooting and IT installations at locations around the UK
  • Rudimentary electrical wiring and termination skills would be beneficial
    • Candidate RequirementsThe candidate must be able to demonstrate a very good knowledge of TCP/IP networking and have experience working with commercial networking equipment. The right candidate must be comfortable working directly with end-users and be a confident, clear communicator who is able to manage client expectations while staying calm and polite. The role will involve regular travel to client sites so the candidate must be a competent driver and possess a full UK driving license.Full requirements
  • 1+ years’ commercial experience in an IT services or networking role
  • Full UK driving license and a competent driver
  • Strong communication skills (customer service experience would be beneficial)
  • Good time management and organisation
  • Happy to work as part of a small, dynamic team and jump in where required
