  • Reporting directly into the Engineering Project Manager
  • Deliver the project deliverables on time, on cost and to the appropriate level of quality
  • Ensure that projects are kicked off according to the R&D process and that responsibilities of project team members are defined and understood.
  • Ensure that the R&D processes are being followed rigorously throughout the project
  • Define project metrics and ensure accurate reporting to the Engineering Project Manager
  • Organise the tasks and apply resources at the appropriate times
  • Resolve issues relating to on cost, on time, on quality delivery of the project
  • Liaising and negotiating with customers as and when required
    • R&D Project ManagerEssential Skills/Experience/Qualification Required
  • Must be fully SC cleared or eligible to get it
  • Experience managing engineering projects and teams
  • Experience working within an R&D environment #
  • Must be skilled in Microsoft Project to a high competency level including management of multiple projects
  • Strong communication skills (Both verbally and written)
    • R&D Project ManagerDesirable Skills/Experience/Qualification Required
  • A project management qualification such as PRINCE2 would be an advantage
