Technical Service Owner / Product Owner - Inside IR35 Contract - Flexible Working.TEKsystems are recruiting for a Technical Service Owner / Product Owner to join a highly successful pharma customer of ours on a long term contract basis.Description:The Technical Service Owner will be a key thought leader and accountable for specific capabilities and services within the team, based on a specific technology portfolio. In partnership with architects, technologists and other leads, this role will drivethe evolution of our foundational capabilities and provide an effective platform for growth and value realisation.To be successful in this position, candidates must have a strong passion for both data and technology with a desire to build services that are meant to last.Role & Responsibilities:·Accountable for the delivery and maintenance for the services/platforms in your technology portfolio.·Set the direction for your technology portfolio’s services/platforms by building and managing appropriate roadmaps, providing information into Business Planning activities if required·Partner with key IT stakeholders to understand our needs·Manage the backlog for your technology portfolio’s services/platforms and determine the priority of its items, making tough trade-off decisions when appropriate·Serve as a technical point of contact for consulting needs for the services/platforms in your technology portfolio.·Maintain a strong and active relationship with appropriate vendors to understand their roadmap and also escalate any relevant issues to them·Evaluate additional solutions/enhancements to drive further adoption, performance optimization, ease of usability and increased value and deliver through releases·Collaborate with support teams in order to establish suitable operational and service management processes for your technology portfolio’s services/platforms, driving weekly operational review meetings where appropriate·Analyse and communicate the cost of your technology portfolio’s services/platforms, breaking elements down to functional and project areas when necessary.·Engage in communities, both internal and external, to share, educate and inspire·Actively stay up to date with emerging technology directions connected to your technology portfolio, guiding the rest of the team on how to interpret and leverage the best opportunities·Serve as a point of escalation for any significant issues impacting the services platforms in your technology portfolio.·Ensure that your technology portfolio’s services/platforms are appropriately qualified and validated, authoring content as needed and following IT Quality Processes such as Change Management, Access Roster Reviews process Deployment report reviewsDesired Skills / Technical Experience:·Extensive experience in technology project leadership, managing and advancing complex, global environments.·Extensive experience delivering enterprise technology solutions.·Extensive experience working with public cloud services, especially Azure·Extensive experience working with data tools, technologies, and platforms – preferably those that are part of your technology portfolio·Demonstrated examples of learning agility for new technologies and platforms·Experience working with public cloud services·Experience defining and executing large-scale, transformative strategic plans.·Demonstrated influence and communication skills across all levels of IT and third parties.·Demonstrated strength in facilitation skills·Strong organizational and communications skills with multiple examples of being able to convey complex ideas in a manner that resulted in a clear direction and result.If you are a Technical Service Owner / Product Owner then please do apply within.
