Job Description

We are working with our long term client who are two independently owned companies involved with heavy materials handling incorporating lift trucks, container handlers and hydraulic cranes largely used in various ports and other heavy industries nationwideand in Ireland.Due to expansion, they are now seeking a Telesales Executive to join their small, established and friendly team. The role is full time, it will be responsible to the Sales Director and will be broad ranging in its scope. The individual will be trustworthy,be able to work on their own initiative, be prepared to make time- management decisions and be able to work on his/her own initiative with minimum supervision.The role itself can be broken-down into the following areas: -

  • Telesales. To manage, update and grow the Companys existing database using telesales. It is envisaged this will consume 60%-70% of a working week.
  • Generating new leads for machine sales, rentals, service work as well as supply and purchase opportunities of used equipment
  • Manage the database as it expands as the business enters new and developing markets
  • Manage and monitor website activity and statistics that feed telesales initiatives
The PersonWill have a personable and outwardly friendly and positive attitude who can has the ability to build relationships with customers using the telephone. Clearly, with telesales being a pre-eminent part of the role, telephone manner and a high-level of customerrespect is a pre-requisite. Use and knowledge of the workings of social media is imperative as is the command of written English. It is expected the individual will have excellent MS Office skills and be able to use the database operating system.In return the successful candidate can expect to receive extensive training on the products and the role itself. Highly competitive salary, reviewed regularly with extensive monthly commission package making OTE £47,000 per annum.
