To achieve this, we employ exceptional people who can demonstrate our behaviours – beingBold, Flexible,Agileand always looking to make a positive difference.SIG Distribution are currently looking to recruit a Stock & AdministrationManager, responsible for stock allocation, supplier performance and all stock related administration within ourbusy Eurocentral site in Scotland.We offer a great opportunity to build your career in a market leading business, along withcompetitive salary,fantastic bonus scheme, 25 days holiday + bank holiday, contributory pension, life insurance and a share save scheme.What does the role involveAs Stock and Admin Manager you will report to the Branch Director overseeing all stock related activity, working closely with all members of the branch team in order to establish and maintain the highest levels of customer service within the management of administration processes.Managing stock targets through effective planning & ordering of products whilst balancing all stock administration within the branch, you’ll ensure a ‘best in class’ service is achieved which will help support the overall profitability of the branch. Working closely with brands to maintain specialisation within site, you’ll provide leadership to a small team of direct reports, coaching and motivating them whilst leading by example. Overall, you will engender a culture within the branch which generates profit whilst recognising and promoting the absolute importance of health and safety, environmentally responsible behaviour and the highest standards of business ethics and compliance with corporate requirements.Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:

  • Have a proven track record of success within a similar role.
  • Experience in stock control & inventory management.
  • To be proficient in IT, including Microsoft office and have a good working knowledge of Kerridge Systems (K8)
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritise jobs are essential.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence to work with senior management as well as relate to the operators within the branch
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Commercial awareness of branch performance.
  • A strong Customer Focus (both internal and external) and a commitment to quality, excellence and continuous improvement, are able to prove results with KPI’s.
