Are you a Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (adults) looking for a new challenge An exciting opportunity has arisen for Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner’s to join the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Service (IAPT).Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (Band 5) Band 5 - £24,907 - £30,615 per annum 37.5 hours per week (negotiable)Service hours are: Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm and some weekends. Flexibility within these hours is a requirement for this role.Base: Stafford, Cannock or TamworthMental Health Matters works in partnership with Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust to deliver Talking Therapies across South Staffordshire. An opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner within the South Staffordshire Wellbeing Service (IAPT).Seeking individuals who have gained the IAPT Post-Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Interventions (adults) and who have 1 year post qualification experience. You must be able to demonstrate high levels of written and verbal communication; be computer literate and be able to demonstrate good therapeutic relationships with people.At the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Wellbeing IAPT service we offer PWPs high quality supervision and opportunities for continual professional development. PWPs are supported to become proficient in psychological assessment, delivering a range of low-intensity psychological treatments for anxiety and depression.As an early implementer integrated IAPT service, the successful candidate will be at the forefront of IAPT developments. The candidate will receive additional specialist in-house training in a range of relevant clinical areas, such as dealing with long-term physical conditions, medically unexplained symptoms and research methodology.
