Job Description

An Area Sales Manager / External Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager is required to join a leading manufacturer of sensors covering the Northeast of England.The Area Sales Manager / External Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will have experience working with industrial automation, electrical / electronic products, or sensors. Package Salary: £45,000 - £55,000OTE: £10,000 - £12,000Company Car Holidays 25 Days + Bank holidays Pension schemeA shorter working day on the Friday.Area Sales Manager / External Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role:

  • Managing a number of key accounts in the automation sector and OEM customers in various industries
  • Bringing on new business and managing accounts.
  • Working with a team of application engineers to provide solutions for customers and further building relationships.
  • Pricing, negotiating contracts, quotes, consulting customers preparing quotes, and completing applications sales.
  • Providing sales tactics and strategies to move the business forward and grow the patch.
  • Manage budgets efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Experience as an Area Sales Manager / External Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager
  • Technical knowledge of the automation sector
  • Ability to plan your own days and time efficiently.
  • Motivation and the drive to grow with a reputable engineering manufacturer.
  • Full UK Driving license and passport.
  • Degree educated or equivalent within the engineering sector.
  • Based in the North East
