An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Software Developer to work within the Department of Rheumatology. They will lead a one-year service-development project entitled, “Musculoskeletal Remote pAtient centred cARe (MSK RADAR),” whose aim is to integrate remotely captured patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) with the Trust’s electronic patient record (EPR), thereby facilitating enhanced management of rheumatic and musculoskeletal disease (RMDs) such as rheumatoid arthritis. The British Society for Rheumatology (BSR) has recently developed a web-based platform to capture PROMs, enabling RMD patients to complete and securely submit responses to a variety of widely-employed online questionnaires (BSR ePROMs). However, the facility to efficiently import captured data into live EPRs at individual hospitals, remains an unmet need, and will be the focus of this project. The post may be subject to extension. Please refer to the Job Description and Person Specification for all essential and desirable criteria required for the role.Full time 37 hours 30 minutes/weekFor further details / informal visits contact:Arthur PrattArthur.Pratt@newcastle.ac.uk
