Job Description

Due to growth in our clients team, Reed Scientific is recruiting for a full-time, permanent Principal Scientist who is an expert in Analytical Chemistry. If youre recognised as an expert in Analytical Chemistryand are experienced in leadinga team of resolute scientists to bring medicines to market, then please read on.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, the Principal Analyst will be responsible for supervising several teams who are working on projects to characterize drug products and APIswithin tight deadlines. They will plan and prioritise all the teams work and will need to put in placenew analytical techniques to grow and diversify capability. The Principal Analyst will need be responsible for reviewing and approving scientific SOPs and reports and should be able to solve intricate scientificproblems.They will ensure the teams GMP adherence and will communicate with clients on a professionally.Qualifications, skills and experience required

  • A PhD or degree in Analytical Chemistry or related scientific discipline
  • Extensive experience of working inAnalytical Chemistry labs within industry with thorough knowledge of various analytical methods
  • Expertise in troubleshooting of HPLCs and method developmentor techniques such as supercritical fluidchromatography and / or GC.
  • An excellent understanding of the entire drug development process
  • Experience of leading intricate scientific projects and senior scientists and their teams
  • Experience and thorough knowledge ofTechnology Transfer
