Job Description

Our client, a well-established company who specialize in manufacturing stationery products, is recruiting for Packing Operatives on an ongoing basis.Duties include:

  • You will spend most of your working day standing, and the work often involves bending, lifting, carrying and loading.
  • You will be responsible for taking the finished product of the manufacturing process and ensuring that it is packaged in line with company and industry standards, making it ready for sale or distribution.
  • Assemble packaging components and pack finished goods
  • Replenish components on filling and packing lines
  • Operate packaging/filling equipment after training and demonstrating the required competence level
  • Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping
What skills are we looking for
  • Work independently in a busy, active environment and collaborates well with others
  • Work 12-hour shifts (days and nights rotation)
  • Support your team during busy periods, being flexible and adaptable when needed
  • Take health and safety seriously
What are the shifts available -
  • Continental 12hour shift. Rotation of both Day 07:00-19:00 and Night 19:00-07:00. The pattern repeats on a 4-week cycle.
