Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for committed individuals to join the Conversion Team asa Production Operative on a continental shift pattern. The role will be working in a fast pacedenvironment to ensure a variety of packing operations are performed efficiently and ontime. The role will focus on Efficiency, Output, Quality and OTIF order completion.This is a full time ongoing position leading to a permanent contract for the right candidate.We are looking for candidates who are able to attend induction asap and start 13th June 2022 onwards.Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performing packing operations in accordance with time, quality and quantity targets
  • To support the team in achieving the required production targets whilst ensuring all Quality Assurance standards are met
  • To deal with issues quickly and efficiently, seeking assistance where necessary to reduce downtime
  • To communicate clearly and effectively within the cell to help to drive efficiency
  • To work as a team to build and maintain an efficient cell operation
  • To take a proactive approach to minimising unnecessary wastage
  • To contribute to a positive culture of Team Working, Communication, Quality and Right First Time
  • To communicate all potential Health and Safety risks or incidents/accidents within your working area
  • To ensure a high level of housekeeping is maintained at all times within the cell
  • To be prepared to work reasonable overtime to cover holidays / sickness/ as when / if required to ensure the production targets are met.
Essential:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent attitude towards work with a positive disposition and strong work ethic
  • Excellent attendance and disciplinary record
  • Motivated and enthusiastic
  • Basic literacy and numeracy
The role:
  • Continental 12hour shift, Rotation of both Day 07:00-19:00 and Night 19:00-07:00. The pattern repeats on a 4-week cycle.
