We are looking for Refuse and Recycling Assessment Officer that will of waste presented by householders for recycling and refuse collection to monitor customer compliance with service requirements and taking action to engage with residents offering support,advice, and guidance on correct presentation of waste as required.Duties and Responsibilities: Undertake visits, carry out assessments and monitoring to respond to customer needs this includes but is not limited to assessing the need for additional medical waste bins, larger recycling bins, assisted collection or the provision of replacement wheeliebins. Record all such activity accurately and report to colleagues in written, electronic, and verbal format as required. Liaise with recycling and refuse collection teams and advocates working within the Customer Service Network. Provide specific advice and support to residents verbally and/or in writing and ensure where appropriate any agreed actions such as ordering and delivering wheeled bins/caddies and monitoring their proper use are fulfilled. Assist in the removal of contaminated waste at the Councils recycling site.The candidates must have a positive attitude committed to excellent customer service, have a experience in promoting a positive culture whilst working within a team, experience with ICT packages and have a good written and oral communication skills You may be required to work on weekends and Bank/Public holidays, as well as between Christmas and New Year. Driving licence is essential.37 Hours per week Normally - Tuesday to Friday 07.30 - 17.15
