Job Description

Sunderland City Council Akton recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Neighbourhood Enforcement Warden to join the team at the Sunderland Council. Job Purpose To carry out an informal surveillance role by reporting incidents of criminal activity and anti-social behaviour to relevant council departments and external agencies, investigating incidents, providing statements and giving evidence as required, and whereappropriate taking enforcement action. To issue fixed penalty notices for offences including enforcing on any Public Spaces Protection Orders, littering, graffiti and fly posting. To assist with and attend community meetings, events and promotions as required. To assist in the deployment of CCTV equipment to support community safety initiatives in collaboration with other partners. To liaise with other external partners including the Police, Enforcement Agencies, Registered Social Landlords to prevent and detectcrime. The post includes a rolling 4-week shift pattern working a mixture of shifts including working two out of four weekends. shift times below: 7.30 - 330 11 - 7 Important Information 1 Month Contract £12.00 umbrella rate
