Job Description

Your mission:As an OEM Account Manager in the Inkjet Solutions division of Epson, you will develop and implement the business sales plan for OEM customers to generate business growth and maximise sales of Epsons InkJet Solutions OEM products.This role reports into the Business Development Manager IJS EMEAR.The position is based out of our Sales and Marketing Office in Hemel Hempstead, UK. as flexibility is key to a modern lifestyle this role also comes with three/four days WFH.*European travel will be required in this role.What you will do:Sales Process:

  • Develop and implement the business sales plan for designated customer base to generate business growth and maximise sales of Epson products
  • For specific markets, understand the addressable market size and potential and use the information to generate leads and develop the existing business portfolio
  • In conjunction with Business Management team and SEC IJS team define and develop the Epson go to market plan
  • Qualify all prospects using agreed metrics; develop the profile of the prospect and the plan for engagement
Produce account plans for each key customer that:
  • Detail the key criteria (budget, data, stakeholder analysis)
  • Detail the solution and all engaged 3rd party providers
  • Detail the value proposition and technical benefits identified
  • Build a successful project pipeline through engagement with all stakeholders:
  • Detailing all opportunities
  • Using internal and external specialists to ensure the project can be delivered to the required specification
  • Tracking all deals on the pipeline management/CRM system
  • Develop detailed deal plans for all opportunities to build solution-based approach
  • Monitor and evaluate market activities and take appropriate actions in order to maintain a competitive advantage
Communication:
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision makers within target market sectors
  • Develop long term relationships with external parties involved in producing bid/tender documentation to ensure that the profile of Epson is high and of priority
  • Actively engage with Sales Support and functional teams (e.g., Marketing) to maximise service and customer satisfaction
  • Coach junior team members to ensure on-going professional development
Reporting:
  • Production of all sales project plans in clearly visible format, using Epson management tools, to ensure access to and awareness of all current activities and deals
  • Analyse and track sales against budget, providing accurate and timely forecasts, based on deal potential in the sales pipeline
What we ask for:
  • Ideally educated to degree or equivalent level in business, technical or sales related discipline
  • Experienced working in a sales environment with proven record of achieving success through the development of profitable sales
  • Technical expertise in relevant product group(s) or similar discipline and able to communicate and demonstrate the value and technical benefits of Epson products
  • Ability to build and proactively manage relationships over a long term to generate business growth
  • Commercially aware and numerate, used to operating in a solution driven environment
  • Experience working with key decision makers to develop account plans and implement tactical solutions
  • Strong negotiating, influencing and communication skills
  • Ability to understand and manage priorities and risk in commercial terms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong IT skills, including a good understanding of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. CRM experience desirable
