About the pub:The Elizabethan is a stunning business, ideally situated in the lively and popular area of Heaton Moor between Stockport and Manchester. The pub attracts a diverse customer base and not only benefits from a fantastic indoor space, perfect for drinking anddining but also a large and well equipped beer garden which is well renowned locally as one of the best spots to enjoy the sunshine. The Elizabethan is well known for its great range of ales, lagers, wines and spirits and this is complimented by a deliciousrange of pub classics created by the talented and stable kitchen team.The pub is scheduled to have a significant refurbishment in 2022.This is a live in role with a spacious 3-bedroom managers flat.

About the role:The ideal General Manager will have experience managing a high volume business with adegree of seasonality. The Elizabethan benefits from having a stable and talented management and kitchen team and so needs the next General Manager tobe a confident, inspirational leader.As a General Manageryour focus will be on driving sales and profit whilst making sure engagement with the local community is one of your key priorities. It is essential that you can demonstrate excellent management skills and have a proventrack record of delivering great quality service, food and drink through your teams.
