Job Description

Are you looking to make a difference in childrens lives If so, this role could be the perfect fit for you.We are seeking an experienced Social Work Team Manager for our Children with disabilities and short breaks team.You will be supporting our team in Greater Manchester.Pay rate£40PHYour key responsibilities will include:

  • To ensure team undertake all aspects of social work with children with disabilities - s17 assessments, CIN, CP, CLA, court work, and assessment and review of short breaks packages in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • To work alongside services specifically designed for CWD.
  • Children in need and the initial stages of looked after children as well as working in Public Law Outline and care proceedings.
  • Participate in the planning/reviewing of cases adhering to statutory timescales.
  • Supporting families and children live up to their potential when living with disabilities.
Reed are now offering a joining bonus of up to £250 for Qualified Social Workers. Terms apply.As the ideal candidate, you will:
  • Be SWE Registered
  • Have minimum 2 years of experience working with children with disabilities
  • Must hold UK Driving License
