Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Night Export Operations Clerk for a niche sector Freight Forwarder. The company are based in the Heathrow area.-An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Night Export Operations Clerk to join the experienced Export team based at the London Heathrow Office. Reporting to the Head of Exports, the successful applicant will contribute to the development and smooth running of the busy Export Department. The role will include end to end management of the export process from the moment a job is created, and monitoring its progress through to its arrival.The primary role will involve:-Preparation, booking and tying off airway billsChecking flight detailsCreating customs declarations including NCTS entriesExtensive communication with external service providers and Government bodiesHelping in the warehouse with deliveries and shipment processing when requiredInternal communications within the World Courier network and other UK departments.Proving guidance to junior and support senior staffCandidate requirement:-Experience with ExportsThorough understanding of all Export proceduresOutstanding customer service and communication skillsThe hours for this opportunity are 40 hours per week over 5 days per week, on a rotating shift pattern between the hours of 20:00 and 07:00 with some weekend work included.As an agency we are fast becoming the number one Freight specialist in the UK.
