Job Description

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Import person who has experience with competing Pharmaceutical customs entries. The company are a well established niche sector Freight company based in the Heathrow area.Daily Duties:-

  • Import customs clearances
  • Completing urgent medical and pharmaceutical entries
  • Working in a busy Import team
  • Completing all relevant paperwork, check everything is current
  • Dealing with CITES and temperature controlled shipments.
  • Working with DEFRA to get shipments customs cleared.
  • Replenishing Dry Ice and checking all temperature controlled shipments.
    • Requirements:-
  • Import Airfreight experience
  • Experience with customs entries
  • Have a good knowledge of the English language both verbal and written.
  • The ability to prioritise and organise own workload to tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills: the ability to communicate effectively with the client and colleagues.
  • Be a team player
  • Sound knowledge of IT
    • The following checks will be required:-
  • A criminal record check - (basic disclosure)
  • 5 year reference history
    • Working hours are Monday - Friday 0900 - 1730As an agency we are fast becoming the number one Freight specialist in the UK.
