Job Description

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Air Export person for a fast growing Freight Forwarder based in Heathrow area.The person we are looking for must be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high job quality.The successful candidate, who will be reporting to the Operations Manager, and will be responsible for all Export operational duties.The applicant must have good Export documentation and customer services awareness, organised and punctual and a very good knowledge of the Air freight industry.We are looking for a person who can add extra quality to our already highly skilled export team and be able come up with alternative solutions to challenges and problems whilst at the same time work under pressure.MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • To work as a team player.
  • To maintain systems and processes.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all customers
  • preparation of and all related requirements for Air Exports.
  • HMC control requirements to enable exports
  • Liaise with airlines,
  • Problem solving - that may affect performance i.e. prepare paperwork for customs and airlines.
  • Ensure shipment procedures are followed according to procedures
  • Maintain accurate data on company systems
KEY TASKS
  • Full export operations
  • Emails to answer, queries etc.
  • General housekeeping
  • Ensure that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures, and within statutory requirements including the provision and maintenance of a safe working environment
