An established client of ours in the aviation industry is looking to recruit a Payroll Specialist with experience of start to finish payroll and to manage the day to day payroll function as this is a sole role sitting within the finance team.Youll workcloselywith the Accounts and HR team and will be responsible for all aspects of payroll including payroll journals /reconciliations.You will have at least 5 yearsexperience in Payroll within a busy environment and large payroll size experience (approx 1000 employees). Ideally with experience of the latest RTI submissions, auto enrolment pension, starters, leavers, P45s, P46;s, P60s, P11ds etc as well as calculation of SSP, SMP, SPP etc. Experience working on a Sage Payroll system is essential & strong Excel spreadsheets. Ideally experienced Payroller with an accountable 5 year work history in order to be compliant with security checks.The position is offering a mixture of remote and office based work, but initially first month or so office based.Job Purpose:The Senior Payroll Specialist will be part of the Finance Team and is responsible for processing payroll and pensions funds, maintaining employee personnel records, conducting payroll reporting and auditing and tax duties. A successful candidate will havestrong attention to detail and experience solving complex payroll tasks. Be able to complete Payroll Journals and reconcile, as well as labour cost reports.Job Duties:
