Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced IT Applications Manager for a Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.-The IT Applications Manager manages several key business cloud applications, primarily Office 365 and CargoWise One, and is responsible for the administration and support of these. They will ensure these systems are configured and maintained to an effectiveand reliable level, provide end user support and training, and adding automation and other tools to improve performance or functionality. They will work with vendors and support partners when necessary to optimise configuration or resolve issues.As well as cloud applications, they will manage IT suppliers. This includes the purchasing of IT hardware, software, licenses, telecoms, printers, maintenance and services.Main Roles and AccountabilitiesOffice 365 / Azure:- Administer and support the MS Office 365 environment.- Ensure the Office 365 environment is configured securely and in line with best practice.- Maintain Office 365 license counts and storage capacities and update as necessary.- Administration of Users, Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint etc.- Develop end-user training materials for use with Office 365 and related applications.CargoWise One- Administer and support the CargoWise One system.- Day to day administration tasks.- Maintain correct license counts and certification levels.- Enable the most effective usage of CargoWise by ensuring all available and relevant features are used and configured optimally.- Monitor billing. Manage and report on changes to costs.- Ensure business processes are reflected as closely as possible in CargoWise.- Work closely with operations and development teams to ensure workflows are as efficient as possible.- Develop end-user training materials for use with CargoWise.- Manage web tracker access for customers.3Support and Helpdesk:- Provide support for Office 365, CargoWise and other supported applications.- Be available to handle occasional out-of-hours issues in the event of system failure or urgent out of hours maintenance.- Provide informal end-user training on supported applications.- Provide project management support to the Head of IT, especially with projects related to supported applications.- Assist with 1st line helpdesk tickets to cover staff illness, holidays, flexible working etc.- Develop and maintain a high-level knowledge of all cloud and internal systems and how these interact with the owned applications and each other.4Vendor and purchasing management:- Manage agreements and renewals for cloud applications and subscriptions.- Manage the global purchasing of IT hardware, software and licenses, delegating purchases to regional resources as necessary.- Manage internet, phone and mobile contracts globally, delegating purchases to regional resources as necessary.- Manage IT related supplier contracts globally, including printer leases, maintenance agreements, licenses and 3rd party services.- Review IT vendor performance to ensure cost effective, quality services are provided.Person SpecificationKey Skills and Attributes:
