Depot Operations Manager Heathrow - Logistics / DistributionSalary C: to £45k + Bonus& Benefits OTE £50kOur client is one of the best known names in the Distribution market, providing their customers with high standards of quality and serviceThe RoleFully accountable for the performance of the operation whilst proactively seeking ways to improve cost, service & operational efficiency. Ensure all resources including third party are managed, planned and controlled to achieve the agreed service levels.Responsibilities·To manage all areas of the warehouse sortation in an efficient cost effective manner to ensure depot key KPI’s are achieved e.g. sortation compliance, Vehicle Departure times, quality of sortation.To assist the Depot General Manager to manage and control the budget in order to achieve the agreed service levels including productivity, labour costs, overtime usage, Agency usage.To deal with depot recruitment as authorised by the Depot manager to the Company standards.To maintain the health, safety and welfare of all employees and visitors and control the overall security of the depot.To comply with health and safety regulations by ensuring Safe Systems of work, risk assessments, accident investigations and reporting is completed and reviewed on a regular basis.To Performance manage direct reports, setting and monitoring key objectivesTo adhere to the legal requirements of the O’ LicenceTo ensure that the Company security processes are maintained at all times & the control/safekeeping of all company assets are maintainedWhat we’re looking forVERY STRONG MAN MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCEMust be able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment to tight deadlinesPC Literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft officeAn understanding of Transport regulationsGood communicator and able to liaise at all levelsNumerate self-starterFlexible approach to work to meet business requirementsApply Vicky
